Lifecare has developed a unique MEMS based sensor technology for continuous glucose monitoring in patients with diabetes, employing osmotic pressure as sensing principle and nanoscale strain pressure elements for readout. In this talk we discuss the problem we set out to solve, how we did it and what is next. This talk is a mixture of science, clinical, technology and international collaboration, and how we will improve outcomes for tens of millions of people.
